Our delicious products are baked from scratch in our Westfield, Indiana bakery using high-quality ingredients, sourced locally whenever possible. From walk-in favorites to custom orders and catering, every treat is crafted with care to bring joy to your table.

Who is Becky and What is a Bakester?

I’m Becky (duh!), and a bakester is an old-fashioned word for a female baker. When I was choosing a name for my business, the word “bakester” just felt right—it’s fun, unique, a little nostalgic, and even reminds me of “Beckster,” a nickname I’ve had throughout my life.

I followed my heart, my passion, and my sweet tooth when I started Becky the Bakester in the fall of 2020 as a home-based bakery. What began at the Westfield Farmers Market quickly grew into a bigger dream. After time in a commercial kitchen, I was named an Indiana Artisan in 2022, and in 2024 I opened my first brick-and-mortar bakery in downtown Westfield on Pi Day. Since then, I’ve been honored to be recognized as the 2025 Westfield Chamber Small Business of the Year.

I’m a foodie at heart, passionate about baking, cooking, and (most importantly) eating delicious food. That passion led me to culinary school in Chicago, where I graduated in 2009, and it continues to fuel every recipe I make today. From handcrafted pies and mega cookies to decorated cookies and gourmet marshmallows, I love creating desserts and baked goods that make people smile.

Westfield has become home for my family, and I’m so grateful for the support of this community. Outside the bakery, you can usually find me cooking adventurous meals, playing nerdy board games, watching TV, sipping a sour beer, or spending time with my husband Gary and our two boys.
