Jennifer sent me a message asking if we could make a Peanut Butter Pie for her Macedonian exchange student for her 18th birthday. Of course we were up for this! My baker Kristy, prepared the pie and decorated it with all of the yummiest chocolate and peanut butter candies. Jennifer and her family loved the pie and shared a Macedonian birthday tradition with me. They said that it is tradition to sing 3 times to the birthday girl/boy and then wipe frosting on their face. How funny is that?
